V. The Road Less Traveled

Taking the road less traveled is where I meet the next version of myself. I’m the farthest along that I’ve ever been and the only thing I have energy to do is to keep going. Knowing I’m not alone in this venture. And in the midst of it all I’m reminded to hand my burdens to a God who can carry the weight of the world while still remaining consistent, stable, and loving.

Jesus wasn’t lying when he said “give me your burden and take my joke upon you for I am humble and gentle in spirit”. Lord, as I make this trek I need you on all sides, but you already know that. I should put it all down at your feet and trust an uncertain tomorrow to an unchanging God.

All is well when I truly remember who You are. The simplicity and power of Your gospel never changes and never dies. God you are gracious and I trust you. God you are glory and I surrender to you. God you are my everything and I love you. All things come from you and all things die to you.

To take the road less traveled is always a journey worth taking. To believe, hope and have faith is always something worth doing. Stay alert, stay focused, stay disciplined. Know that you are seen by the one who matters most. Know that you are loved by the one that matters most. Know that you are on the right path and always pray that God keeps you.
